Thursday, May 13, 1999

The Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage met in camera at 11:20 a.m. this day, in Room 269, West Block, the Chair, Clifford Lincoln, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Mauril Bélanger, Paul Bonwick, Maurice Dumas, Wendy Lill, Clifford Lincoln, Inky Mark and Ted McWhinney.

Acting Member present: Odina Desrochers for Caroline St-Hilaire.

In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Joe Jackson and Wanda Noel.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee proceeded to consider a draft report on Canadian cultural policy.

At 12:55 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
