The Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage met at 11:10 a.m. this day, in Room 269, West Block, the Chair, Clifford Lincoln, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Mauril Bélanger, Paul Bonwick, Sarmite Bulte, John Godfrey, Raymond Lavigne, Clifford Lincoln, Inky Mark, Ted McWhinney, Mark Muise.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Gaston Blais and Grant Purves, Researchers.
Witnesses: From the Business for the Arts: Sarah J.E. Iley, President & CEO. From the Canadian Heritage Foundation: Douglas Franklin, Director.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed its consideration of a Canadian cultural policy.
Sarah J.E. Iley made an opening statement and answered questions.
At 12:38 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
