Meeting No. 100

Tuesday, May 25, 1999

The Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage met in camera at 3:15 p.m. this day, in Room 536, Wellington Building, the Chair, Clifford Lincoln, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Mauril Bélanger, Paul Bonwick, Sarmite Bulte, Maurice Dumas, John Godfrey, Joe Jordan, Raymond Lavigne, Wendy Lill, Clifford Lincoln, Eric Lowther, Inky Mark, Ted McWhinney, Dennis Mills, Mark Muise, Jim Pankiw, Caroline St-Hilaire.

In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Joe Jackson, Researcher. As consultants: David, Black, Kevin Burns and Wanda Noel.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee proceeded to consider a draft report on a Canadian cultural policy.

At 6:10 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
