Meeting No. 99

Tuesday, May 25, 1999

The Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage met in camera at 10:15 a.m. this day, in Room 362, East Block, the Chair, Clifford Lincoln, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Mauril Bélanger, Sarmite Bulte, John Godfrey, Joe Jordan, Raymond Lavigne, Wendy Lill, Clifford Lincoln, Inky Mark, Mark Muise, Caroline St-Hilaire.

In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Joe Jackson, Researcher. As consultants: David, Black, Kevin Burns and Wanda Noel.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee proceeded to consider a draft report on a Canadian cultural policy.

At 11:00 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
