The Standing Committee on Environment and Sustainable Development met at 3:47 o’clock p.m., this day, in room 237-C, Centre Block, the Chair, Charles Caccia, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Charles Caccia, Rick Casson, Bill Gilmour, John Herron, Gar Knutson.
Acting Member present: Guy St-Julien for Yvon Charbonneau.
Other Member present: John Finlay.
In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Christine Labelle, Research Officer.
Witnesses: From the Nuclear Fuel Waste Management and Disposal Concept Environmental Assessment Panel; Blair Seaborn, Chair; Lois Wilson, member.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee considered the Report of the Nuclear Fuel Waste Management and Disposal Concept Environmental Assessment Panel.
The witnesses made opening statements and answered questions.
At 5:17 o’clock p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
