Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(a) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, January 28, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of initiatives toward a family-friendly House of Commons.

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Interim Report on Moving Toward a Modern, Efficient, Inclusive, and Family-Friendly Parliament".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and Analyst be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

At 11:39 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 11:56 a.m., the sitting resumed in public and televised.

• Hon. Jody Wilson-Raybould, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada
Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Tuesday, April 19, 2016, and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, the Committee resumed consideration of the question of privilege related to the matter of the premature disclosure of the contents of Bill C-14, An Act to amend the Criminal Code and to make related amendments to other Acts (medical assistance in dying).

The Minister made a statement and answered questions.

At 1:01 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
