Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(a)(vi) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, November 2, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of the creation of an independent commissioner responsible for leaders’ debates.

François Cardinal, Andree Lau and Bridget Coyne made statements and, with Yann Pineau, answered questions.

At 12:00 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:07 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the Analyst for a report.

At 12:53 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
