Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(a) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, January 28, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of initiatives toward a family-friendly House of Commons.

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the Committee proceed to sit in public.

At 12:54 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:54 p.m., the sitting resumed in public.

On motion of David de Burgh Graham, it was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(a)(i), the Committee hold a briefing session on the layout and function of the temporary House of Commons Chamber in the West Block; that the briefing be scheduled prior to the site visit of the West Block, pursuant to the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, June 2, 2016; and that these activities take place at the earliest practical opportunity.

At 12:56 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
