Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(a)(iii) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, November 2, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of the use of Indigenous languages in proceedings of the House of Commons.

Georgina Jolibois made a statement and answered questions.

Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Thursday, February 8, 2018, the Committee commenced consideration of Bill C-377, An Act to change the name of the electoral district of Châteauguay—Lacolle.

The Chair called Clause 1.

Brenda Shanahan made a statement and answered questions.

The Committee commenced its clause-by-clause study of the Bill.

Clause 1 carried.

The Title carried.

The Bill carried.
