Creation of an Independent Commissioner Responsible for Leaders’ Debates

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(a)(vi) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, November 2, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of the creation of an independent commissioner responsible for leaders’ debates.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $18,500, for the study of the creation of an independent commissioner responsible for leaders’ debates, be adopted.

Janet Brown, by videoconference from Washington, D.C., made a statement and answered questions.

At 1:02 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
