The Standing Committee on Industry met in a televised session at 8:06 a.m. this day, in Room 253-D, Centre Block, the Chair, Susan Whelan, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Eugène Bellemare, Antoine Dubé, Marlene Jennings, Stan Keyes, Ian Murray, Janko Peric, and Susan Whelan.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Daniel Brassard and Antony Jackson, Research Officers.
Witnesses: From the Office of the Auditor General of Canada: Richard Flageole, Assistant Auditor General; Peter Simeoni, Principal, Audit Operations Branch.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), Consideration of Chapter 22 (Federal Science and Technology Strategy) of the December 1998 Report of the Auditor General of Canada.
Richard Flageole made an opening statement and with the witness, answered questions.
At 9:23 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
