The Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food met at 9:17 a.m. this day, in Room 362, East Block, the Chair, Charles Hubbard, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: David Anderson, Rick Borotsik, Murray Calder, Claude Duplain, Mark Eyking, Marcel Gagnon, Howard Hilstrom, Charles Hubbard, Larry McCormick, Dick Proctor, Bob Speller, Suzanne Tremblay, Rose-Marie Ur.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Frédéric Forge, researcher; Jean-Denis Fréchette, researcher.
Witnesses: From the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada: Suzanne Vinet, Chief Agricultural Negotiator, International Trade Policy Directorate, Market and Industry Services Branch. From the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade: Don Stephenson, Director General, Trade Policy Bureau II, Services, Investment and Intellectual Property Bureau.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), Briefing Session on the WTO Agriculture Negotiations at the 4th Ministerial Conference in Qatar, November 9 to 13, 2001.
