The Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food met at 9:08 a.m. this day, in Room 308, West Block, the Chair, Charles Hubbard, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Rick Borotsik, Murray Calder, Marcel Gagnon, Howard Hilstrom, Charles Hubbard, Larry McCormick, Dick Proctor, Paul Steckle.
Acting Member(s) present: Carol Skelton for David L. Anderson.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Frédéric Forge and Jean-Denis Fréchette, Research Officers.
Witnesses: From the Farm Credit Corporation: John Ryan, President and Chief Executive Officer; Louise Neveu, Executive Vice-President & Chief Knowledge Officer; Jacques Lagacé, National Director, Government and Industry Relations; Scott Grant, Portfolio Management Officer.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), Briefing Session with the Farm Credit Corporation.
Mr. John Ryan made opening statement and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.
At 10:46 a.m., the sitting was suspended.
