MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS

Thursday, May 23, 2002
The Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food met in camera at 8:49 a.m. this day, in Room 209, West Block, the Chair, Charles Hubbard, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: David L. Anderson, Rick Borotsik, Garry Breitkreuz, Murray Calder, Claude Duplain, Marcel Gagnon, Howard Hilstrom, Charles Hubbard, Rick Laliberte, Dick Proctor, Bob Speller and Rose-Marie Ur.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Jean-Denis Fréchette, Principal and Frédéric Forge, Analyst.
The Committee resumed its consideration of a draft report on the Labelling of Genetically Modified Food.
At 10:15 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
