The Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food met in camera at 3:38 p.m. this day, in Room 306, West Block, the Chair, Charles Hubbard, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: David L. Anderson, Murray Calder, Claude Duplain, Mark Eyking, Howard Hilstrom, Charles Hubbard, Dick Proctor, Paul Steckle and Rose-Marie Ur.
Acting Members present: Lynne Lelich for Garry Breitkreuz and Odina Desrochers for Suzanne Tremblay.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Jean-Denis Fréchette, Principal and Frédéric Forge, Analyst.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee proceeded to the consideration of a draft report on the Future Role of the Government in Agriculture.
At 4:15 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 4:26 p.m., the sitting resumed.
At 5:41 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
