The Standing Committee on Industry met at 9:04 a.m. this day, in Room 308, West Block, the Chair, Susan Whelan, presiding.

Pursuant to its Order of Reference of Thursday, October 28, 1999, the Committee resumed consideration of Bill C-276, An Act to amend the Competition Act, 1998 (negative option marketing) (See Minutes of Proceedings, Thursday, November 18, 1999 , Meeting No. 7).
The witnesses made statements and answered questions.
At 10:09 a.m. the sitting was suspended.
At 10:16 a.m. the sitting resumed.
At 11:55 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
