Tuesday, March 28, 2000

The Standing Committee on Industry met in camera at 9:20 a.m. this day, in Room 371, West Block, the Chair, Susan Whelan, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Pierre Brien, Antoine Dubé, Marlene Jennings, Gurbax Malhi, Ian Murray, Charlie Penson, Nelson Riis, Werner Schmidt and Susan Whelan.

In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Dan Shaw, Research Officer.

Pursuant to the Committee's mandate under Standing Order 108(2), a study concerning Productivity, Innovation and Competitiveness.

The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

Charlie Penson moved, - That the Committee do now adjourn.

And the question being put on the motion it was agreed to by a show of hands.
