The Standing Committee on Industry met at 9:06 a.m. this day, in Room 308, West Block, the Chair, Susan Whelan, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Pierre Brien, John Cannis, Gurbax Malhi, Dan McTeague, Ian Murray, Charlie Penson, Jerry Pickard and Susan Whelan.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Dan Shaw and Geoffrey Kieley, Research Officers.
Witnesses: From Carleton University: Prof. Donald McFetridge, Faculty of Economics. From Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt: Tim Kennish, Lawyer.
Pursuant to the Committee's mandate under Standing Order 108(2), a Review of the Competition Act.
The witnesses made statements and answered questions.
At 10:35 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
