Tuesday, May 21, 2002

The Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage met in a televised session at 9:12 a.m. this day, in Room 237-C, Centre Block, the Chair, Clifford Lincoln, presiding.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed its study on the State of the Canadian Broadcasting System.  (See Minutes of Proceeding, dated Thursday, November 8, 2001, Meeting No. 26).

By unanimous consent, it was agreed,

- That, notwithstanding the Committee’s decision of Wednesday, May 8, 2002 (Meeting No. 62, the Sub-Committee on Sport be authorised to sit on Wednesday, May 22, 2002 at 3:30 p.m.

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

At 1:15 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
