The Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs met in a televised session at 9:00 a.m. this day, in Room 237-C, Centre Block, the Chair, Pat O'Brien, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Robert Bertrand, Hec Clouthier, Gordon Earle, Art Hanger, René Laurin, Judi Longfield, Pat O'Brien, Janko Peric, David Pratt, George Proud, Elsie Wayne, Bob Wood.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Wolf Koerner and Corinne McDonald, Research Officers.
Witnesses: From the Department of National Defence: Daniel G. McNeil, Director of Defence Analysis; Dr. Scot Robertson, Director of Defence Analysis 3; Dr. Elinor Sloan, Directorate of Strategic Analysis.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed consideration of its study of the Revolution in Military Affairs.
Daniel G. McNeil made an opening statement and, with the witnesses, answered questions.
At 11:00 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
