The Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs met at 3:30 p.m. this day, in Room 112-N, Centre Block, the Chair, Pat O'Brien, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Robert Bertrand, Hec Clouthier, Gordon Earle, Art Hanger, René Laurin, Judi Longfield, Pat O'Brien, John O'Reilly, Janko Peric, David Pratt, George Proud and Elsie Wayne.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Wolf Koerner and Corinne McDonald, Research Officers.
Witness: From the Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt: Gregory Somers, Partner, Public Law Regulatory Affairs.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108 (2), the Committee resumed consideration of its study on Contracting and Procurement Policy.
Gregory Somers made an opening statement and answered questions.
At 4:50 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
