The Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs met in a televised session at 9:02 a.m. this day, in Room 253-D, Centre Block, the Chair, Pat O'Brien, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Robert Bertrand, Hec Clouthier, Gordon Earle, René Laurin, Pat O'Brien, John O'Reilly, Janko Peric and Elsie Wayne.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Wolf Koerner and Corinne McDonald, Research Officers.
Witnesses: From the Department of National Defence: Dr. John Leggat, Assistant Deputy Minister, Science and Technology; Dr. Ingar Olav Moen, Director, Science and Technology Policy, Defence R&D Canada.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed consideration of its study on the Revolution in Military Affairs.
John Leggat made an opening statement and, with the witness, answered questions.
At 11:00 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
