The Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs met at 9:14 a.m. this day, in Room 237-C, Centre Block, the Vice-Chair, David Pratt, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Robert Bertrand, Hec Clouthier, Gordon Earle, Art Hanger, Jim Hart, René Laurin, Judi Longfield, David Pratt, George Proud and Elsie Wayne.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Wolf Koerner and Corinne McDonald, Research Officers.
Witnesses: From the Marine Workers' Federation - CAW: Les Holloway, Executive Director; Gary Marr, President; Terrence O'Toole, President, Industrial Union of Marine in Shipbuilding Workers of Canada, Local 3.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108 (2), the committee resumed consideration of its study on Contracting and Procurement Policy.
Les Holloway made an opening statement and , with the witnesses, answered questions.
At 10:55 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
