The Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs met at 9:02 a.m. this day, in Room 237-C, Centre Block, the Chair, Pat O'Brien, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Robert Bertrand, Hec Clouthier, Gordon Earle, Art Hanger, René Laurin, Judi Longfield, Pat O'Brien, John O'Reilly, Janko Peric, David Pratt, George Proud, Elsie Wayne, Bob Wood.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Wolf Koerner and Corinne McDonald, Research Officers.
Witnesses: From the Department of National Defence: Daniel Bon, Acting Assistant Deputy Minister, Policy; Col Randy Price, Director of Western Hemisphere Policy; George Betts, Acting Director, Policy Development.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee proceeded to the consideration of the Revolution in Military Affairs - National Missile Defence.
Daniel Bon made an opening statement and, with the witnesses, answered questions.
At 10:57 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
