The Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs met in a televised session at 3:30 p.m. this day, in Room 253-D, Centre Block, the Chair, Pat O'Brien, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Hec Clouthier, Gordon Earle, Art Hanger, René Laurin, Judi Longfield, Pat O'Brien, John O'Reilly, Janko Peric, George Proud, Elsie Wayne, Bob Wood.
Other Member present: Bill Graham
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Wolf Koerner and Corinne McDonald, Research Officers.
Witness: From the North American Aerospace Defense Command: Lt-Gen George E.C. Macdonald, Deputy Commander in Chief of North American Aerospace Defence Command, Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the committee resumed consideration of its study of the Revolution in Military Affairs - National Missile Defence.
The witness made an opening statement and answered questions.
At 5:30 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
