Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(h) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, January 13, 2022, the committee resumed its study on collection and use of mobility data by the Government of Canada.

Daniel Therrien made a statement and, with Martyn Turcotte, answered questions.

At 12:05 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:06 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Khaled El Emam made a statement and answered questions.

At 12:38 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:43 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the next four meetings be dedicated to the study of the collection and use of mobilityd data by the Government of Canada; that the clerk reiterate the committee’s invitation to representatives from Telus, Rogers, Bell and Sasktel; and that a part of the meeting of Monday, February 28, 2022, be reserved for drafting instructions for the report.

At 1:10 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
