Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(h) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, December 13, 2021, the committee resumed its study of use and impact of facial recognition technology.

The Nestor Maslej and Sharon Polsky made statements and answered questions.

Questioning of the witnesses resumed.

At 5:33 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the meeting of Monday, June 13, 2022, be dedicated to the consideration of the certificate of nomination of Philippe Dufresne to the position of Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

It was agreed, — That the witnesses scheduled for the meeting of Monday, June 13, 2022, be invited to appear on Thursday, June 16, 2022.

At 5:52 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
