Pursuant to Standing Order 81(5), the Committee commenced consideration of the Supplementary Estimates (C) 2015-16: Vote 1c under Canadian Air Transport Security Authority, votes 1c and 5c under Office of Infrastructure of Canada, votes 1c and 10c under Transport and vote 1c under VIA Rail Inc., referred to the Committee on Friday, February 19, 2016.

The Chair called Vote 1c under Canadian Air Transport Security Authority.

Helena Borges, Angus Watt and Yves Desjardins-Siciliano, by videoconference from Montréal, Québec made statements and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

Vote 1c under Canadian Air Transport Security Authority carried on division.

The Chair called Votes 1c and 5c under Office of Infrastructure of Canada.

Votes 1c and 5c under Office of Infrastructure of Canada carried on division.

The Chair called Votes 1c and 10c under Transport.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

By unanimous consent, on motion of Sean Fraser, it was agreed, — That, during the meetings on March 7 and 9, the Committee also consider the Main Estimates 2016-17 as they relate to the Transport and Infrastructure portfolios, subject to the Committee’s wishes that officials be recalled should the Committee deem it appropriate.

At 5:02 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
