The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That, for the meeting of Monday, March 19, 2018, in relation to the study of the Ocean War Graves, the following witnesses be invited to appear: Captain Paul Bender, Vadm Denis Rouleau (ret'd) and Patrick White, along with officials from Parks Canada, Transport Canada and Veterans Affairs Canada.

It was agreed, — That Members provide any additional witness suggestions in relation to the study of the Ocean War Graves, to the Clerk of the Committee, no later than Friday, March 9, 2018.

It was agreed, — That in relation to the study of the Canadian Transportation and Logistic Strategy (trade corridors), the proposed budget in the amount of $ 56,281.52, for the Committee’s travel to Vancouver, British Columbia and Seattle, Washington, United States of America in Spring 2018, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That, where feasible, members’ staff be permitted to accompany the Committee for the site visits in Vancouver and Seattle.

It was agreed, — That all members of the Committee taking part in the Vancouver and Seattle trip use their points for the flights to and from Vancouver, in order to reduce travel costs.

It was agreed, — That Bernadette Jordan present the Committee’s Twenty-second Report on Bill C-64, An Act respecting wrecks, abandoned, dilapidated or hazardous vessels and salvage operations, to the House.

At 4:29 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
