Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, the Committee commenced its study of an update on infrastructure projects and the Investing in Canada Plan.

Jason Jacques made a statement and, with Chris Matier and Negash Haile, answered questions.

At 4:30 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:33 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Bev Dahlby and Randall Bartlett made statements and answered questions.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $ 22,200.00, for the study of an update on infrastructure projects and the Investing in Canada plan, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That a descriptive text, for the study of an update on infrastructure projects and the Investing in Canada plan, be adopted and published on the Committee’s website.

It was agreed, — That a short text, for the study of update on infrastructure projects and the Investing in Canada plan, be adopted and published on the Committee’s Twitter account.

It was agreed, — That, if time permits, the Clerk of the Committee invite the Transportation Safety Board to appear before the Committee to provide an update on aviation safety.

At 5:28 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
