Pursuant to the motion adopted by the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development on Thursday, February 4, 2016, the Subcommittee resumed a briefing on the human rights situation in Venezuela.

Lilian Tintori made a statement and, with Antonieta M. de López, the Hon. Irwin Cotler and Jared Genser, answered questions.

At 2:06 p.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
