Pursuant to the motion adopted by the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development on Thursday, February 4, 2016, the Subcommittee resumed a briefing on the human rights situation in Syria.

Anas Al-Kassem, by videoconference from Simcoe, Ontario, and Miles Windsor, by videoconference from Surrey, England, made statements and answered questions.

At 12:33 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the Subcommittee continue to sit.

At 12:48 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 1:19 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Scott Morgan, by videoconference from Washington, D.C., and Tity Agbahey, by videoconference from Dakar, Senegal, made statements and answered questions.

At 1:58 p.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
