Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Subcommittee proceeded to a briefing on the human rights situation in Sri Lanka.

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

At 1:51 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 1:54 p.m., the sitting resumed.

The Subcommittee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Subcommittee business.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $4,700, for the briefing on the human rights situation in Cameroon, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $5,100, for the briefing on the global human rights situation of Christians, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That a proposed supplementary budget in the amount of $3 600, for the briefing on the human rights situation in Syria, be adopted.

At 1:56 p.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
