David Romano, by teleconference from Erbil, Iraq, made a statement and answered questions.
At 1:52 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 1:53 p.m., the sitting resumed.
It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of Canada's Global Engagement on Human Rights Issues, particularly by exchanging with the human rights committees in the U.S. Congress, the proposed budget in the amount of $ 34,644.94, for the Subcommittee’s travel to Washington, D.C., United States in Winter-Spring 2017, be adopted.
At 1:56 p.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
