The Subcommittee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Subcommittee business.

It was agreed, — That the document drafted by the Library of Parliament entitled "Suggested Rationales to be Included in Invitations to meet with SDIR in Washington, D.C. (8-10 March 2017)" be approved.

It was agreed, — That the "Draft Study Plan: The Human Rights Situation in South Sudan" be approved.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $ 15,900.00, for the study of the Human Rights Situation in South Sudan, be adopted and that the Chair present it to the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development.

Pursuant to the motion adopted by the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development on February 4, 2016, and the motion adopted by the Subcommittee on June 16, 2016, the Subcommittee resumed its study of Yezidis, Christians and Other Religious and Ethnic Minorities in Syria and Iraq.

The Subcommittee commenced consideration of a draft report.

At 2:01 p.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
