The Standing Committee on Finance met in a televised session at 3:34 p.m. this day, in Room 253-D Centre Block, the Chair, Sue Barnes, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Sue Barnes, Roy Cullen, Nick Discepola, Rahim Jaffer, Sophia Leung, Shawn Murphy, Pauline Picard, Gary Pillitteri and Tony Valeri.

 

Acting Members present: David Chatters for Richard Harris.

Pursuant to Standing Order 83(1), the Committee resumed its pre-budget consultations.
 

Panel I: Raymond W. Johnson, Hans R. Konow, Tad Brown, Jason Myers and Louis Dubé made a statement and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

 

At 4:54 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:56 p.m., the sitting resumed.

 

Panel II: Michael Gorman, Joe De Mora, Sharlyn Ayotte, Mark Nantais and Phil Benson made a statement and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

 

At 5:41 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
