The Standing Committee on Finance met in camera at 9:40 a.m. this day, in Room 307, West Block, the Chair, Sue Barnes, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Sue Barnes, Roy Cullen, Nick Discepola, Albina Guarnieri, Richard Harris, The Hon. Maria Minna, Shawn Murphy, Pierre Paquette, Pauline Picard, Gary Pillitteri, Tony Valeri, Bryon Wilfert.
Other Member present: The Hon. Lorne Nystrom.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: June Dewetering, Acting Principal Analyst; Marc-André Pigeon, Analyst.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed its study on the public interest implications of large bank mergers.
The Committee proceeded to a discussion.
At 11:40 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
