The Standing Committee on Finance met at 2:04 p.m. this day, in the Salon Cartier A-B, Hotel Delta Centre-Ville, Montreal, Quebec, the Chair, Sue Barnes, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Sue Barnes, Rahim Jaffer, Shawn Murphy, Pierre Paquette, Pauline Picard and Judy Wasylycia-Leis.

Pursuant to Standing Order 83(1), the Committee resumed its pre-budget consultations.

Panel I : France Latreille, Ghislaine Beaulieu, Anne Legars, Richard Gauthier and François Auger made a statement and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

At 3:26 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 3:32 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Panel II : Peter Sandmark, Serge Lebeau, Jules Arsenault, Lucie Poirier, François Saillant, Claude Dauphin and Michel Beauséjour made a statement and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

At 4:56 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
