MINUTES OF PROCEEDING
(Meeting No. 4)

MONDAY, DECEMBER 8, 1997

The Sub-Committee on the Study of Sport in Canada of the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage met in a televideoconference at 4:38 o’clock p.m., this day, in room 701 La Promenade Building, the Chair, Dennis Mills, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Dennis Mills, Denis Coderre, George Proud and Jim Abbott.

Acting Members present: Louis Plamondon for Suzanne Tremblay.

In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Finn Poschman and Claude Blanchette, Research Officers.

Witness: From the Canadian Olympic Association: Carole Anne Letheren, Chief Executive Officer.

Carole Anne made an opening statements and answered questions.

At 6:00 o’clock p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
