MINUTES OF PROCEEDING
(Meeting No. 2)

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 24, 1997

The Sub-Committee on the Study of Sport in Canada of the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage met "in camera" at 4:05 o’clock p.m., this day, in room 269 West Block, the Chair, Dennis Mills, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Dennis Mills, Denis Coderre, Albina Guarnieri and Pat O'Brien.

Acting Members present: Rick Borotsik for Peter MacKay and Carmen Provenzano for George Proud.

Other Member present: John Solomon.

In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Finn Poschman and Claude Blanchette, Research Officers.

The Sub-Committee proceeded to consider its future business.

It was agreed,--That the research staff prepare a draft letter to be sent to associations and organizations.

At 5:55 o’clock p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
