MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS
(Meeting No. 15)
THURSDAY, MAY 7, 1998
The Sub-Committee on the Study of Sport in Canada of the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage met at 9:16 o’clock a.m., this day, in Room 308, West Block, the Chair, Dennis Mills, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Denis Coderre, Dennis Mills, George Proud and Suzanne Tremblay.
In attendance: From the Parliamentary Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Claude Blanchette, Research Officer.
Witnesses: From the Canadian Interuniversity Athletic Union (CIAU): Kerry Moynihan, Chief Executive Officer; Jennifer Brenning, Director of Operations.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed the consideration of the Study of Sport in Canada.
Kerry Moynihan and Jennifer Brenning made opening statements and answered questions.
The Sub-Committee proceeded to discuss its future business.
At 10:34 o’clock a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
