Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, the committee resumed its study of the response to the call for public comment on the Breast Cancer (Update) - Draft Recommendations (2024) from the Canadian Task Force on Preventive Health Care.

The committee commenced consideration of a draft letter.

It was agreed, — That the draft letter in Response to the Call for Public Comment on the Breast Cancer (Update) - Draft Recommendations (2024) from the Canadian Task Force on Preventive Care be approved and sent.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $10,750.00, for the study of the response to the call for public comment on the Breast Cancer (Update) - Draft Recommendations (2024) from the Canadian Task Force on Preventive Care, be adopted.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, November 27, 2023, the committee resumed its study of Red Dress Alert.

The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Implementing a Red Dress Alert in Canada ".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the committee request that the government table a comprehensive response to the report.

It was agreed, — That dissenting or supplementary opinions be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the clerk of the committee, not later than 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

ORDERED, — That the clerk and analysts of the committee, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for publication on the committee’s website and for distribution upon presentation of the report to the House.

At 12:39 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
