It was agreed, — That the Second Report from the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure, which read as follows, be concurred in:

Your subcommittee met on Monday, November 6, 2023, to consider the business of the committee and agreed to make the following recommendations:

1. That the committee dedicate two meetings for witness testimony prior to clause-by-clause consideration of S‑205, An Act to amend the Criminal Code and to make consequential amendments to another Act (interim release and domestic violence recognizance orders); that witness lists for the study of S‑205 be submitted to the clerk by Friday, November 10, 2023; and that amendments to S‑205 be submitted to the clerk no later than noon on Wednesday, November 29, 2023.

2. That, pursuant to Standing Order 108 (2), the committee undertake a study on the implementation of a distinct emergency alert system, hereby called the Red Dress Alert, to notify and ask the public for assistance in finding a missing Indigenous woman, girls and 2SLGBTQQIA+ including an examination of a most effective and efficient manner to operate, administer, and control such alert system; that a minimum of four meetings be held on this study; and that the committee report its findings to the House.

3. That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the committee undertake a study of coercive behaviour, focusing on and studying those countries or jurisdictions around the world that have already legislated on this issue; that the committee devote at least six meetings to this matter and then report its findings and recommendations to the House.

4. That the committee prioritize the studies in the order listed above.

It was agreed, — That prioritized witness lists for the study of the Red Dress Alert be sent to the clerk no later than Thursday, December 14, 2023.
