Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, October 31, 2022, the committee resumed its study of women and girls in sport.

Gretchen Kerr, Ian Moss and Sarah-Ève Pelletier made statements and answered questions.

At 12:04 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:09 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Donna Gall, Sophie Gagnon and Richard H. McLaren made statements and answered questions.

At 12:56 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 1:01 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of women and girls in sport, the testimony of Waneek Horn-Miller be struck from the public records of proceedings during the meeting of Monday, December 12, 2022, including the evidence, audio and video recordings of the meeting; and that the committee clerk, in consultation with the chair, be authorized to make the appropriate changes.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of human trafficking, the committee clerk and analysts, in collaboration with the Chair, prepare a preliminary travel submission respecting the committee’s proposed travel during the period of April to June 2023, to be submitted to the Subcommittee on Budgets of the Liaison Committee no later than Wednesday, February 8, 2023.

At 1:08 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
