Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, the Committee commenced its study of the impacts of Canada's regulatory structure on small business.

The witness made a statement and answered questions.

At 9:48 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:52 a.m., the sitting resumed.

Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Wednesday, December 13, 2017, and section 92 of the Copyright Act, the Committee resumed the statutory review of the Act.

The Committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts for a report.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

At 10:32 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:33 a.m., the sitting resumed in public.

Pursuant to Standing Order 81(5), the Committee commenced consideration of the Supplementary Estimates (B) for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2019: Vote 5b under Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency, Vote 1b under Canadian Tourism Commission, Votes 1b and 10b under Department of Industry, Vote 10b under National Research Council of Canada, Vote 5b under Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council, Vote 5b under Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, and Vote 1b under Statistics Canada, referred to the Committee on Monday, January 28, 2019.

Motion

David de Burgh Graham moved, — That the Committee approve and report back to the House the Votes in the Supplementary Estimates (B) 2018-2019.

After debate, the question was put on the motion and it was agreed to on the following recorded division:
