Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, the Committee commenced its study of iPhone performances and their batteries: the interests of Canadian consumers.

Alexa Gendron-O'Donnell and John Poole made statements and answered questions.

At 4:25 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:30 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Jacqueline Famulak made a statement and, with Simon V. Potter, answered questions.

At 5:17 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:21 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That in relation to the study of the Statutory Review of the Copyright Act, the proposed budget in the amount of $ 113,170.30, for the Committee’s travel to Halifax, Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg and Vancouver in Spring 2018, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That in relation to the study entitled "Statutory Review of the Copyright Act", the texts proposed by the analysts be adopted and published on the webpage of the study or used in social media.

At 5:25 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
