The Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration met at 11:07 a.m. this day, in the Victorian Room, Rodd Charlottetown Hotel, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, the Vice-Chair, Jerry Pickard, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Diane Ablonczy, Madeleine Dalphond-Guiral, Jerry Pickard.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: David Goetz, research officer.
Witnesses: From Holland College: Joy E. MacDonald, Program Coordinator. From the Government of Prince Edward Island: Karen Rose, Information and Privacy Commissioner.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed its study of Canada's Settlement and Integration
Programs (See Minutes of Proceedings, Monday, February 10, 2003, Meeting No.
20).
Joy E. MacDonald made a statement
and answered questions.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed its study of the National Identity Card (See Minutes of Proceedings, Thursday, February 6, 2003, Meeting No. 17).
Karen Rose made a statement and answered questions.
