MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS

Meeting No. 15

 

THURSDAY, May 14, 1998

The Sub-Committee on Private Members’ Business, of the Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs, met "in camera" at 10:33 o’clock a.m., this day, in Room 112-N, Centre Block, the Chair, Carolyn Parrish (presiding).

Members of the Sub-Committee present: Yvon Charbonneau, Madeleine Dalphond-Guiral, Ken Epp and Carolyn Parrish.

Other Member present: Randy White.

In attendance: From the Parliamentary Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Jamie Robertson, Research Officer.

Pursuant to the order of reference, from the Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs, adopted on Monday, September 29, 1997, the Sub-Committee resumed consideration of the question of the selection of votable items.

The Sub-Committee proceeded to consider a Draft Report.

It was agreed, - that the Draft Report, as amended, be adopted as the Sub-Committee’s Second Report and that the Chair present it to the Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs.

At 11:05 o’clock a.m., the Sub-Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
