MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS

Monday, October 20, 1997

The Standing Committee on Finance met at 8:34 o’clock a.m. this day in the Toronto Room, Metropolitain Hotel, the Chair, Maurizio Bevilacqua presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Maurizio Bevilacqua, Dick Harris, David Iftody, Jim Jones, Gary Pilliteri, Karen Redman, Nelson Riis, Hon. Monte Solberg, Paul Szabo and Tony Valeri.

Acting Members present: Odina Desrochers for Yvon Loubier.

Other Member present: Tony Ianno.

At 10:38 o’clock a.m., the siiitng was suspended.

At 10:46 o’clock a.m., the sitting resumed.

At 12:34 o’clock p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
