Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, October 4, 2016, the Committee commenced its study on the 2011 LGBTQ Refugee Pilot Project.

David Manicom made a statement and, with Donald Cochrane, answered questions.

At 4:27 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:33 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Lisa Hébert, witness 1, Sharalyn Jordan, Soubhi M., Eka Nasution and Chad Wilkinson made statements and answered questions.

It was agreed, — That the deadline for the submission of witnesses concerning the study on immigration to Atlantic Canada be Friday, May 12, 2017.

At 5:28 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
